Volunteering

I believe that my work volunteering in underserved communities defines my identity and my research interests.

Presently, I volunteer and mentor young students from underprivileged backgrounds who aspire to pursue their education in prestigious global universities. I help them through the intricacies of scholarship and college application processes.

In the past, I have volunteered with the Tata Steel Rural Development Society (Tata Trusts) in Jharkhand, India, researching ways in which the organization can provide employability skills training for young women in underserved communities and create avenues for them to establish small businesses through women cooperatives.

I have also volunteered with the National Service Scheme (NSS) in India tutoring and mentoring first generation students from underserved communities of northern India.
